  • ENTIRELY CHRIST’S

    October 2nd, 2023

    Micah J. Sturm

The dream of God in creation was to be close to you and me.  We were made in His image and likeness.

    Then entered sin.

    Sin is entirely about self.

Sin is the disease that puts distance between God and us.

Our sin-polluted hearts produce lives that look nothing like our Creator.

    Sin is poison.

Sin destroys—relationships, homes, churches, nations, and everything in its path.

Sin is an enemy that makes us both criminals and captives.

Sin’s death grip is with two hands: pollution and practice.

    Then enters holiness.

Holiness is Jesus and life centered on Him.

Holiness is the means by which unity comes—with God and humanity.

Pure hearts filled with the Spirit of Christ produce lives that resemble our Lord.

    Holiness is healing and hope.

The grace of God overwhelms sin, ends the death grip, and sets the captives free!

Forgiveness frees every captive and the filth of sinful hearts is cleansed by the blood of Jesus!

What sounds impossible is in reality a divine invitation!

    HOW can anyone be holy?

Bring Him your HANDS…the Holy Spirit doesn’t have hands—He uses YOURS!

Bring Him your FEET…to follow His lead!

Bring Him your EYES…to see from His perspective!

Bring Him your EARS…to hear His voice!

Bring Him your MOUTH…to speak His grace!

Bring Him your TALENTS…be available to be used by Him!

Bring Him your TREASURE…surrender all our stuff to Him!

Bring Him your ATTIRE…modesty and simplicity are the robes of righteousness—“put on the Lord Jesus!”

Bring Him your TIME…every minute is a gift and opportunity for Him!

Bring Him your RELATIONSHIPS…put people on the altar—Jesus first, others second…

Bring Him “the Unknown Bundle”…everything we don’t yet know can be placed in His care now—give Him all your tomorrows too!

    Impossible?

What are we withholding from Him?

When we are entirely His, He will be entirely ours.

It’s a miracle of His grace!

The Bible calls it entire sanctification, holiness, and perfect love.

I call it being entirely His!

    Thanks be to God!
